I traded my job and house for a backpack and doubts. Through photos and poems, this is what I found.

Changing

Just be yourself
that’s what they say
but what if you don’t like you
is it okay to change?

I’d like to be more considerate
give more energy
be a better me

Are we still we
if we go down that road
is us still us
if we keep changing
keep improving, keep moving
nothing remains the same

When the images are fading
can we keep the frame?

Travel Stories

  • cactus with view of salt flats, uyuni, bolivia

    Bolivia

Sucre, Potosí & the Salt Flats

VICUÑA, VICUÑAS, look LLAMAS, more VICUÑAS, LLAMAS. This was basically what you could hear in our car today.

We also visited an active geyser and some more pretty lakes, but the animals excited me the most. I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of looking at them.

  • mules walking cordillera blanca, peru

    Peru

    Cordillera Blanca

I just crawled in my -15 degrees Celcius sleeping bag, fully dressed. Our first camp is at 4200 meters altitude, in the middle of the Andes, with views of snowcapped mountains.

According to our briefing, it can get -8C at night. So let’s hope I stay warm during the night.

The painting table was placed right in front of a window with a beautiful view. We could choose our ceramics to paint and sat down next to two men working.

We tried our best to make a good first drawing with a pencil before we dared to touch the paint.
